July Monthly Medal 3rd July 2010
Once again El Presidente shows off his skills with an excellent win at the July Monthly Medal. Our Monthly Medal winner is Andrew Petricola with a net 66 in wintry conditions. This now puts Andrew well and truly at the top of the championship table with 70 points 13 clear of the field. Oliver was only one shot behind and must have savoured the the Chicago-like conditions. Targe and Kazim both played to their handicaps to take out joint 3rd places.
Targe Mifsud goes through to the matchplay quarter finals as David Howard unfortunately had to forfeit.
Honor Board
Its been a long time coming but the honor board is now up at the clubhouse and looks sensational. Congratulations to the committee for organising this wonderful club artefact. It shows that we really have a strong club history we can be proud of.
Matchplay Quarter Finals
We are officially into the Matchplay Quarter Finals now all prior matches have been completed. Congratulations to the quarter finalists who must play their matches by 21st August. Click on Matchplay on right to see the results so far.

Congratulations to our winner and grinner Jan Siemon who shot an excellent 41 points, 4 clear of the field, and has now achieved a personal best with a handicap of 11.5 and edging ever closer to a single figure handicap (meanwhile I shall just continue to dream of one!). Richard and Damo pulled up in second place with 37 points and Kazim has put in a solid round of 36 for third place.
Note the tee times are now coming back in time, next week is 8.22am and Rod Grant will operate the tee on his return from his international gallivanting.
