Hi from Las Vegas! Doing the handicapping today after four hours sleep which was preceded by a few budweisers, japanese sushi, comedy show and watching a guy win $40,000 on a craps tables. Hotel I’m staying in is the only one with its own golf course..thats the good news, bad news is a round of golf starts at $500!!
Good to see the Vice Pres, Targe Mifsud and Treasurer, Chris Priems get up today two shots clear of second. Laurie Mannix took the money out on the nearest the pin. Can’t report much else as I wasn’t there :-). Please note the tee time I’ve posted is a guess … you might need to check with the pro shop to be sure.
Malcolm Adey is the tee marshall next week.

Dual winners today with 41 points, the first no surprise and the second a tribute to the hardiness of the Australian male to withstand heavy nights out. Rodger the Lodger continues his good form and consistency and jumps to the top of the championship table once again and Gordo who showed that too much grog and a hangover are no impediment to playing out of your socks!! Honorable mention for Ben who shot an excellent 39 points.
Next week is the draw for the Matchplay competition and also the February Monthly Medal. Unfortunately I’ll be in the Las Vegas so I wish you all luck in qualifying next week while I avoid the urge to gamble.
